  2. He stands at 1.80 cm (5’11”).
  3. He has been appearing on the screen since 1978 (excluding his appearances on his father’s show).
  4. He was once married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.
  5. He’s famous for being a bachelor.
  6. Clooney’s uncle was also an actor.
  7. His celebrity friends include Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Mark Wahlberg and Nicole Kidman.
  8. Andre Zeller of Desperate Housewives (Susan’s grumpy art teacher) and Crossing Jordan’s Garret (Jordan’s boss), Miguel Ferrer is George Clooney’s cousin.
  9. Just like Mel Gibson, he thinks directing is more fun than acting.
  10. He has directed and co-starred in the movie Confessions of a Dangerous Mind starring Sam Rockwell and Drew Barrymore.

Their dates would be Monica (Courteney Cox) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), although things went out of hand when Rachel had to lie on her insurance form at the hospital and said her name was Monica. Monica got scared of getting caught, and their anger towards each other ruined a perfectly good date. That, and pretending to be each other and pointing out each other’s worst sides.
  16. His best known movie role is the Ocean’s series where he starred with an ensemble cast for three movies in a row: Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen. His character’s name was Danny Ocean.

George Clooney is a very talented and versatile actor. Very interesting trivia although movie trivia is more my ex-wife's thing than mine.

Ha ha. Actually, I just posted a post on my blog saying that I find him a bit overrated. I like him, but I just don't see his diversity. I think I am disappointed with the academy for ignoring Gary Oldman and not having given an Oscar to Ralph Fiennes yet:)
