2. His full name is Mark Anthony McDermott.

3. The name Dylan comes from his ex stepmother. According to imdb.com, she adopted Dylan when she was 26, and he was 18. She was planning to name her own baby Dylan, and when she had a miscarriage, Mark changed his name to Dylan.

4. He stands at 6' (1.83 m).

5. He lost his mother when he was five. She was accidentally shot by her boyfriend.

6. He was married to actress Shiva Rose for 13 years (1995-2008). They have 2 kids together.

7. He dated Steel Magnolias co-star Julia Roberts.

8. He is most famous for his lawyer character Bobby Donnell - the starring character of the legal drama The Practice. Bobby is a criminal defense lawyer and runs a law firm with several other lawyers who often take very challenging cases.

9. In 1999, he won Golden Globe (for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV series- drama), for his performance in The Practice. He was nominated 2 other times for the same role (in 2000 and 2001).
