Celebrities We Lost in March and April of 2012

Like most years we had a lot of celebrity deaths in 2012. There are way too many to list them all in one article so I am going month by month and listing the celebrities in order of the most current deaths on down. This particular article is about those celebrities that we lost in April and March of 2012. There were not a lot of celibrity deaths in these two months.

There were not a lot of celibrity deaths in these two months.

Earl Shruggs:  Shruggs was a famous Blue grass musician best known for his extremely good picking skills. Shruggs made the banjo look cool.  He died at the age of 88 of natural causes on April 28th. 

Michael Hossack:  Hossack was the original drummer for the Doobie Brothers. He was also a veteran of the Viatnam war.  He died at the age of 65 on March 12th.  He had been battling against cancer. 

Robert Sherman: Sherman was a composer best known for It's a Small World After All, and Mary Poppin's Supercalifredgilisticexpialidtious.  He also composed songs for the Jungle Book, the Aristicats, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.  He died peacefully at the age of 86 on March 6th. 

Ronnie Montrose:  Ronnie Montrose was a member of the band Montrose.  He was a excellent guitarist and he played with a lot of rock's greats.  He played for Van Morrison on his album Tupelo Honey, He also played with Herbie Hancock and Boz Scaggs.  His groups album was also named Montrose and it contains sogs such as, "Rock the Nation" and Space Station #5. He died at the age of 64 on March 3rd. It was suspected that he died of cancer.

This past year had a handful of tragic deaths, quite a few suicides, and even a couple of bizarre deaths.  Many of the celebreties lived up in to their late 80's and several were even in their 90's.  It seems overwhelmingly that cancer was what took many of these celebreties lives.
